SousAI Terms of Service

Accepting These Terms

By creating an account, using the SousAI app, connecting SousAI to a third-party assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SousAI.

The Service

SousAI helps you discover, generate, save, and organize recipes, manage grocery lists and pantry inventory, and use AI features to assist with cooking. SousAI may also be connected to third-party AI assistants (such as Claude or ChatGPT) via our MCP connector, which lets those assistants save recipes to your SousAI account on your behalf, subject to your authorization.

Accounts

You need an account to use most SousAI features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. You must be at least 13 years old to use SousAI.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, images, notes, and other content you create or submit to SousAI ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant SousAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the service to you.

You are responsible for Your Content and must have the right to submit it. Do not submit content that is illegal, infringes on others' rights, or that you don't have permission to share.

AI Features

SousAI uses AI models to generate, transform, or organize recipe content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete — always use your own judgment, especially regarding food safety, allergens, and ingredient substitutions. SousAI is not a substitute for professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice.

Third-Party Connectors

If you connect SousAI to a third-party AI assistant using our MCP connector, you authorize that assistant to save recipes to your SousAI account on your behalf. You can review and revoke this access at any time from the third-party assistant's connector settings or by contacting us. SousAI is not responsible for the behavior of third-party assistants or platforms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SousAI for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to SousAI systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through excessive automated requests.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse SousAI's APIs, including the MCP connector, beyond its intended use.
• Upload malicious code or content that infringes on the rights of others.

Availability and Changes

SousAI is currently offered free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features, and may modify or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

Termination

You may stop using SousAI and delete your account at any time from the app (More → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us — see our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers

SousAI is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that SousAI will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SousAI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of SousAI.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use of SousAI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
